How I got $8000 back in one hour but the key was I didn’t do it

If you thought your cell phone company overbilled you by $25 would you call them? What if they overbilled you by $8000 would you call them?

Lets say for me personally, I wouldn’t care if they billed me $25 over. I know for a fact I have so many bills that come in and subscriptions that I have that are costing me money every month for things that I probably don’t even use anymore. The thing is my opportunity costs to look through all these things is just not worth it. For example a few nights ago I created a new income generating website for myself called #InspirationTemple (click here to check it out). It took me from around 8 pm in the evening until about 3 am in the morning to have it up and running. That business I created could be worth lots of money. If I had spent that time on hold with my cell phone company or going through all these little nickel and dime charges I have I would not have had the time to get that business going.

I do however have an amazing business partner who saw that Rogers (a cell phone company in Canada) had billed me $8000 extra in the year. All these non-sense charges for things when they could have changed my plan to accommodate those charges. Anyways long story short he got my cell phone bill down to $100-150 bucks a month now and he got them to give us back $8000 in credit. Lets just say I didn’t have to pay a single cell phone bill for a long time.

That one hour my partner took to call Rogers and make us back $8000 was great. Would I have done it personally? Probably not because in 1 hour I know I could create a business for the future that would be worth a lot more than $8000 bucks…..plus I have surrounded myself around people that will do it for me anyways ;)
